Should I choose Tradecopia Pro+ Lite or Pro+?

How to choose between Tradecopia's two web plans, Pro+ Lite and Pro+, based on how you trade and your capacity needs.

Both of Tradecopia's web plans, Pro+ Lite and Pro+, run the same software with the same features. The main thing that separates them is capacity: how much trading activity and how many accounts each is built to handle comfortably. This article helps you match that to how you trade so you can decide which one fits.

You might need this article if:

  • You've decided on a web plan but aren't sure whether Pro+ Lite or Pro+ is the better fit

  • You want to choose based on how you actually trade, not just the price

  • You copy to a large number of accounts or scalp heavily and want to know if the entry plan can keep up

  • You trade at a steadier pace with fewer accounts and want to know whether you need the higher plan

  • You want your own dedicated capacity and want to understand what that means

What the two web plans have in common

Pro+ Lite and Pro+ both run in your browser on Tradecopia's infrastructure, with the full Tradecopia feature set: copy groups, quantity multipliers, risk management, the Position Reconciler, Hard Lock, and all four brokers. Copy trading works exactly the same way on both.

Your environment is private and isolated to you on both plans. Your groups, accounts, and settings are yours alone and are not visible to anyone else.

So the choice is not about features or how copying works. It comes down to capacity, which is why it helps to match the plan to how you trade.

Pro+ Lite — the entry-level web plan

Pro+ Lite gives you the same web experience and the same features as Pro+ at a lower cost, in your own private, isolated environment. It is designed to use its capacity efficiently, which makes it a strong fit for trading that sits within a moderate range of activity. That typically means:

  • You copy to a smaller number of accounts

  • Your copy groups (the follower accounts set to copy a leader) are modest in size

  • You trade at a steady pace rather than scalping continuously at very high frequency

For this kind of trading, Pro+ Lite gives you the full web experience without paying for capacity you would not use.

Pro+ — the plan for high-volume trading

Pro+ runs on capacity that is reserved entirely to your account. Like Pro+ Lite, it gives you your own private, isolated environment. What sets Pro+ apart is that its capacity is reserved for you alone, which gives you extra headroom for heavy, sustained trading. It is designed for traders who put more activity through the system. That typically means:

  • You copy to a large number of accounts

  • You scalp aggressively or trade at high frequency

  • Your overall trading volume is high

  • You want your capacity reserved entirely to you, with headroom to spare

If your trading is heavy, or you simply want your own capacity with room to grow, Pro+ gives you that headroom and control.

Which sounds more like you?

A simple way to think about it:

  • Fewer accounts, a steadier pace, and keeping costs down: Pro+ Lite is built for this kind of trading.

  • Many accounts, heavy scalping, high volume, or wanting your capacity reserved entirely to you: Pro+ is built for this kind of trading.

There is no fixed cut-off number, because the right fit depends on your full setup: how many accounts you copy to, how often you trade, and how aggressively. If you are not sure which side you fall on, contact the Tradecopia support team and we can talk through your setup with you.

What this does not change: your prop firm standing

Whichever web plan you choose, your standing with your prop firm is not affected. Tradecopia is whitelisted with the prop firms it supports, and your Tradecopia session is recognised as legitimate activity on both plans. Choosing Pro+ Lite rather than Pro+, or the other way around, does not change how your prop firm sees your trading. Switching plans, and logging in from another device

It helps to know the difference between changing the device you log in from and changing your plan, because they behave differently on the web plans.

Logging in from another device does not affect your setup. Because the web plans run on Tradecopia's infrastructure, your copy groups, broker connections, and settings live in your web instance, not on your device. You can log in from another computer, your phone, or a different location, and everything is still there waiting for you.

Changing your plan is different. Switching between web plans moves you to a new web instance, and your setup does not carry over automatically. You set up your copy groups, broker connections, and risk configuration again on the new plan, and you receive a new access link for the new instance.
