This article covers what to do when your affiliate application is taking longer than expected, was declined, or you hit an issue during the signup process.
You might be experiencing this if:
Your affiliate application was submitted but hasn't been activated
It's been more than a few days and you haven't heard anything
You're not sure whether your application is complete
You applied but couldn't find where to enter your promo code
You received a decline and want to know your options
Make sure your application is complete
A Tradecopia affiliate application must include all four of the following before it can be reviewed. If any step is missing, activation will not proceed.
Leave a Trustpilot review — leave an honest review of your experience at trustpilot.com/review/tradecopia.com. This confirms genuine product experience and is required before your application can be assessed.
Sign up at the affiliate portal with your promo code — register at the affiliate signup portal. During signup, find the affiliate_id field and enter the promo code you want to use with your audience.
Share your promotion channels — provide links to your social media profiles, YouTube channel, Discord server, trading community, or any other platforms where you plan to promote Tradecopia. Applications without this information cannot proceed to review.
Confirm your signup email — let the team know which email address you used to register so your application can be matched correctly.
If any of these steps are not yet done, complete them and your application will be queued for review.
If you missed the affiliate_id field during signup:
The affiliate_id field is part of the registration form — it is where you enter the promo code you want to use with your audience. If you have already created your account without entering a code, the team can set it for you after the fact. Contact the Tradecopia support team and we will sort it.
How long does activation take?
Once all four steps above are complete, activation typically takes 1–3 business days.
If it has been more than 3 business days and all four steps are confirmed complete, contact the Tradecopia support team. Share confirmation that each step is done and the team will look into where your application is.
Your application was declined
Not all applications are approved. Each application is reviewed individually to assess whether the applicant is a genuine fit for the programme.
If your application was not approved, the team will let you know. Specific reasons for individual decisions are not shared. If you believe your application warrants reconsideration, contact the Tradecopia support team and a team member will follow up.
You're not yet using Tradecopia
The affiliate programme is designed for people who actively use the product — affiliates are expected to promote from firsthand experience. If you are not yet using Tradecopia, signing up for the free trial at tradecopia.com before your application is reviewed will strengthen your application and give you the product knowledge to promote it effectively.
